Spirits roam this plane of existence and it makes a lot of sense if they try to communicate
with living people. Mediums are people who have the ability to communicate with spirits of
the dead, angels, and demons. These people are used as a device to relay messages from
spirits to non-mediums, or to help identify what the spirits are. Many people across the
world claim that they are a medium and have these abilities.
I do believe that there are different levels of power when it comes to a spirit. For whatever
reasons, some spirits have the ability to do much more than others. If all spirits could do the
same things, then all reports of activity would be the same. Stories vary from hearing
voices, being touched, objects moving, changing temperatures, visual appearances, and
many more. These are all forms of communication of some sort. Mediums pick up on a
whole other form of communication.
Mediums have the ability co contact the spirit directly. This could mean that they could
even find out more or different information about the spirit. Mediums have been dated back
to early human history, so this is not a new concept. Though not popular in most religious
atmospheres, mediums continue to practice to this day. Their communication with spirits on
the “other side” has helped thousands of people come to terms with activity in their house or
things happening to loved ones.
Some mediums claim to have a spirit guide. A spirit guide is a highly evolved spirit whose
purpose is to help the person learn medium skills and bring spirits to that medium’s
attention. Mediums also say that they have a specific guide stay with them to lead them
down the right spiritual path and assist when they are needed.
